The Alpine SnowGuards HS-800 HeatDefender System is an advanced aluminum extrusion designed to securely conceal and protect heat trace cables in Steep Slope Asphalt Shingle eave applications. This system uses a base (HS-801) and cover (HS-802) that are mechanically fastened into the roof structure with a gasketed seal (bushings and bonded washers) to ensure a weathertight installation. Measuring 5” x ¾” high and available in 6’ lengths, the HS-800 effectively mitigates ice dam formation while preserving the roof's integrity.
