The Alpine SnowGuards HS-700 HeatDefender System is a compact aluminum extrusion (HS-701 base and HS-702 cover) measuring 3 ⅛” wide and 13/16“ high, designed to protect and maximize the efficiency of heat trace cables in narrow applications. It is the recommended choice for Gutter Applications under 6” wide (1-2 cable runs) and is frequently used in Steep Slope Valley or Low Slope Membrane applications, where the base can be adhered to flashing or roofing material. The two-part system snaps closed and can be riveted for maximum security, ensuring effective and discreet ice dam prevention.
