#S-5!™ SnoPost - SnoFence - SnoRail

SnoRail/SnoFence from S-5! - clean lines, clyndrical shapes and a high tech appearance make this a favorite choice of architects and roof designers. Alpine SnowGuards is a leading distributor of SnoRail and SnoFence.

SnoRail consists of an aluminum S-5! "A" clamp and aluminum or stainless steel 3/8" rod, couplings and end pieces. It is also available in brass (S-5! "B") for copper roofs. By adding a SnoPost and second rod, the system becomes SnoFence. When using aluminum clamps, Alpine SnowGuards recommends using stainless steel rod -- aluminum rod will sag in time. The rod is available in 6' lenghts for shipping via UPS.

At the end of each run, an end clamp and end SnoPost are used. These peieces have set screws to hold the rod in place. For larger installations, runs should not exceed 100' in lenght to allow for heat expansion.
